Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you so that you can use our service.
If another user shares their passport with you then we will have collected your email address from them.
We use the information that we've collected in order to provide you with our AXS Passport service.
We share this information with users that you choose to share your passport with. If your passport is set to public then the information in that passport (except your phone number and email address) will be publically available.
Under UK data protection law, the lawful basis we rely on for processing this information is your consent. You are able to remove your consent at any time. You can do this by contacting us, or by using the delete account options on your account page.
Your information is securely stored on computers that we rent inside data centres in the UK.
Your information is encrypted on the disks on these servers, and all transfer of your data from the servers happens over an encrypted channel.
We keep your passport data for as long as you have an account with us. We will then dispose of your information by securely and permanently deleting your records from our database.
